Throughout this time I have been working on the following projects:

Major Cloud migration project running over 2 years, which included (but is not limited to):

- World first for moving production SAP environment into Azure Cloud

- .NET applications migrated to Azure

- Citrix XenApp migrated to Azure

- Office 365 migration for all mailboxes globally

- SharePoint migration to Azure

• SharePoint upgrade from 2007 to 2013

• Office 2013 rollout (in preparation for Office 365)

• Rollout of a new mobile app for the industry

• Rollout of Lync Enterprise Voice to NZ and Tokyo offices

• Migration of Signavio (process mapping tool) to Azure platform

Infrastructure Project Manager (Contract) Ballance Agri-Nutrients Ltd

February 2012 – June 2016 (4 years 5 months)

Throughout this time I have been working in a contract capacity on the following projects:

• Implementing an internal Help Desk team, reducing external outsource costs

• Network and server upgrades, replacing end-of-life equipment and moving to a dual data-centre environment to increase business continuity capability

• VMware upgrade – from vsphere 4 to vsphere 5

• Microsoft Exchange upgrade from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013

• Citrix virtualisation and upgrade – migration from physical servers to a virtual server environment, while upgrading from Citrix 4.1 to XenApp 6.5

• SAP virtualisation – migration from physical servers to a virtual server environment and upgrading to SQL Server 2012, increasing business continuity capability. Further details of the benefits obtained are captured within a Microsoft Case Study.

• Windows 7 and Office 2010 rollout – upgrading desktops, laptops and Citrix thin clients from Windows XP / Office 2003 to Windows 7 / Office 2010

• Creation of a central Incidents & Hazards Management Policy, together with implementing SAP portal changes to support the policy

• Accounts Payable automation – integration of a Kofax scanning solution with SAP, allowing scanned invoices to be captured, validated and work-flowed through SAP with minimal manual intervention

• Creation of a business case for the integration of weighbridge technology with SAP

• Streamlining the HR processes for performance management and remuneration through the use of technology

• Environmental policy audit – an internal audit of my client’s adherence to their environmental policy

• Citrix upgrade from XenApp 6 to XenApp 7.6

• Windows 10 / Office 2016 upgrade nationwide

• Security System upgrade to Gallagher Command Centre across multiple sites
